2025 Missouri Humanities Small Town Recognition Award
The Missouri Humanities describes the award as such, “We strive to highlight the uniqueness of rural Missouri, and to showcase the bigger picture of what Small Town America really is, and why it shouldn’t be overlooked, overshadowed, or underappreciated. Each year, communities with populations under 10,000 will be nominated and voted on by Missourians to become our annual “Featured Five” communities.

2024 St. Louis County Award for Preservation
The St. Louis County Historic Building Commission awards people and properties within St. Louis County this award who have gone above and beyond preserving a historic building.

2024 Missouri Alliance for Preservation Preserve Missouri Award
Every year the Missouri Alliance for Historic Preservation awards individuals who have worked hard to restore and renovate a historic building. The Red Cedar Inn received this award thanks to the astounding work that the staff members have done to preserve the building which is on the National Register of Historic Places.

2024 Missouri Senate Recognition
This resolution was introduced and passed in the Missouri senate to approve and congratulate the Red Cedar Inn on receiving the 2024 Preserve Missouri Award.

2024 Missouri House of Representatives Recognition
This resolution was introduced and passed in the Missouri house of representatives to approve and congratulate the Red Cedar Inn on receiving the 2024 Preserve Missouri Award.

2023 St. Louis County Historical Building Commission Adaptive Reuse Award
St. Louis County occasionally award individuals who have brought life back into a historic structure. The Red Cedar Inn received this award for turning the historic restaurant into a state-of-the-art museum and visitor center.

2019 East Central College Distinguished Scholar of History Award
This award was given to Ryan Lowry during his time at ECC by Professor Deborah Dicus of the ECC History Department. Ryan was recognized as the top student in his cohort due to his impressive historical research.
2019 East Central College Academic Excellence Award
This award was given to Ryan Lowry during his time at ECC by Dr. Coreen Derifield of the ECC History Department. Ryan received this award for his academic career, ranking top amongst his class in all disciplines.
2016 Glory to Missouri Award
The Glory of Missouri Award is an annual award presented to Missouri High School students who exemplify specific virtuous qualities. The award recognizes students who embody the virtues that are engraved on the walls of the Missouri House Chamber. Each year, students are selected from different schools to represent one of the 14 virtues
